Built in 1596 on the High Street, The Blue Stoops has been at the heart of the community for hundreds of years. It is believed that the name originates from the custom of painting the door posts blue to indicate an inn.
After extensive renovations on the Grade II listed building True North Brew Co. have taken pride in restoring The Blue Stoops to its former glory, by retaining as much original character as possible whilst creating a traditional, community pub.
During the renovations, we found that the local Dronfield community are experts in the history of their town. If you have an interesting story about The Blue Stoops, why not share it with us? Pop in and tell our team or send us an email on firstname.lastname@example.org.
